I haven't posted a song translation in awhile, and I go and post one by Gackt. *gaspies!* I'm making an AMV with this song. I'm probably going to subtitle it, so I need to make sure I have an accurate translation that sounds fluid. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Hello, it's me again, back with yet another song from that one boy we all love.
This time the song is Kaeri no Izumi, the title of which translates to something like "Spring of Return." That's the spring as in a fountain of water, not the season. *grins* And really, I don't like my translation of the title. Suggestions?
There's really not much to say about this song except that it has now had two versions, neither of which have been on a full album. The first was on his Keep on Dancin' single and the second was a string quartet version included with the Scene~Nokoshitai Fuukei photo book.

Back again with some NeoRoma love in honor of Isato's and my NeoRomance Event Anniversary on the 20th.
This is Yuunoki Azuma's song from "Kin-iro no Coruda". And while the song is quite soft and Yuunoki is very serious, the seiyuu have taken the title and used it as a sentai-style attack, so whenever I think about it, I have go: "Cen-dri-ON~!" (with the movements and everything). ^_^
I'm not terribly pleased with the translation, because the language just doesn't quite translate as well as I'd like. But I made a decent change to the first line, and was happier with that. So here it is.

Wow... and just under eight months later Akifumi gets it together. ~_~
This song is not at all the one I expected to be posting first here, but such is life. This song is one of three original songs on Katou Kazuki's Prince of Tennis Musical Best Actor album.
The song is very... Keigo. The lyrics are perfect and Kazuki pulls it off wonderfully, though Suwabe Jun'ichi he is not.
This is very much my song of the moment and since the translation was complete so fast and I am rather pleased with it, I offer it for critique and comments.
よろしくお願いします~!

Wow it's been awhile. I've been working on quite a few songs but haven't finished or posted them and still need to go back and edit the ones I have posted. But I figured as long as this song has been sitting here done for almost 2 years (wow, it's been that long?) I should post it.
"Hikari Sasu Hou e" is...special (aren't they all?). This song, from his second full album "Indicate," is another one of those songs he dedicated to his adoring fans. I heard it for the first time in Kobe, when he performed it at the Keep on Dancin' event. He said that he took all the feelings that he got from his fans and put them into this song. So if you've ever written him, this one's for you.
Of course, at the time he also said that it was the first time he'd ever performed it so he wasn't sure if he'd remember the words, but that's okay since Indicate hadn't been released yet and we wouldn't know them anyways. And even when we got the CD (which they were accepting preorders for...hint hint hint...) we would just think it was the "Special Live Version." In the middle of the song, during one of the musical interludes, he smiled a little nervously and quietly said 「間違いました」or "I messed up." *sweatdrop* You weren't supposed to /tell/ us!
I really want to make a fansite for him, using this as the title. I still can't listen to it without getting all the nervous, fluttery feelings I got at that time. Anyways, here's the translation!

Yet another translation...I'm on a roll!
This time the song is stay. This song tends to be a favorite of a lot of people, I've noticed. It was one of my favorites of his for a long time. The music is just so slow and touching. He's performed it in a variety of different ways, from singing it to music to acapella to playing it on the piano (or at least, that's what the reports of the Scene tour state). So I guess it's one that he likes too.
I posted this translation earlier, but I've edited it a bunch since then. It's still not as good as I want it, though. Anyways, enjoy!

Apparently lunchtime is the time to post song translations.
As promised, the other song on the Suzaku single from Hachiyou Shou: Inori's Honoo no Namida de Nakijakure. This song is kinda special to me, because I got to see him perform it live at Haruka Matsuri. He was just so energetic and happy during the performance that every time I watch the DVD I feel like the performance is energizing me all over again.
Anyways, enjoy the translation!

*gasp* It's /not/ a Nao-kun song! But I guess it /is/ kinda Nao-kun related.
This is Shimon's image song from Hachiyou Shou. Truth be told, when I first got the second vocal collection CD I liked this song better than Inori's. *sweatdrop* It's just so cute and catchy that it makes me happy. So I translated it and then translated Honoo no Namida afterward. I'll post the translation for the other song on the single as soon as I have a moment, since I think it's all typed up and ready to go even.
Enjoy!

Okay, I promised this to some people weeks ago and am only now getting up the motivation to post it. I'm a bad person.
I posted a translation of this song earlier this year, but I've made a lot of changes since then. Mainly in the first verse (since I finally figured out that second line sorta thanks to the dictionary
double_dear pointed me to...thanks girls!), but I did some rewording other places too. Still not entirely happy with it, but at least it's a little better.
This is the song that Takahashi Naozumi does at the end of all his concerts. Well, except for that one show in Nagoya...but that was special. There was originally another part to the second verse, but as far as I know it hasn't been released on a CD anywhere. Someday I'll just have to sit down with the A to Z encore and try and jot it down. For the last line, he normally changes the last "kimi" (you) to "minna" (everyone). Enjoy!
